Splendid Sabbath in Philly

Sometimes I wish we had 2 days of sabbath.I headed out to Philly for sunday service. It was the end of the PCRT. Music was great(prelude was amazing) and Eric Alexander gave an great sermon on Perserverance of the Saints. This year PCRT's theme was "The Doctrines of Grace". I had to smile when I saw tulips on the platform. I wonder if they do that every year.
I ran into some old school Tenth people who happened to be in town. Good times. I even got to hang out in the art museum area with some of my favorite people. Ahh, I miss Philly!!

Wow - looks like you had a *marvelous* Sabbath!!! I heard the sermon too -- incredibly good. I just love the way Eric Alexander preaches, easy to follow yet profound. A rare combination. If I weren't a Christian I might even be envious that you got the weekend in Philly...! Aren't you glad you'll be back there?

I haven't forgotten that you asked me about Modesty ... I'm working up something in my head but probably will not be able to get around to it till after my finals next week. I've got some opinions.
